Kult Books is an independent publishing project run by Janne Riikonen in Stockholm, Sweden. Kult Books publishes photography books and other lens based visual arts in monographs and artists’ books. Kult embraces personal artistic approach and visual language. The physical form of the books are of high importance to Kult and every project is designed in detail together with the artist to support the concept of the work.

Besides publishing books, Kult Studio does freelance work related to designing and production of art and photography books, such as book design, editing and sequencing, production consultation etc. Ideally, work is done in tight collaboration with the artist to reach the best outcome. SHIPPING AND TERMS
Book proposals are welcome to hello@kultbooks.com. Please include a link to at least 30-50 photographs and a synopsis of your work as well as a short biography. PDFs are also welcome although single photographs are preferred over ‘dummies’. Due to high number of submissions it might take some time to get a reply, thanks for understanding.
